Bertrand Raguin – Chef & Owner
Taratata Brasserie, opened its doors in 2011 embodying traditional French homemade classics.
As in its name “brasserie”, the food is simple, hearty and unpretentious, served up in a cosy informal setting, and not fine dining.
At the helm is Chef and owner Bertrand Raguin from Loire, trained in traditional French classic cuisine.
Bertrand’s passion for the culinary arts has shaped his career spanning over 30 years, from fine dining establishments around France to Le Grand Chêne in New Caledonia, Le Méridien in Thailand, Le Restaurant de France at The Regal Kowloon Hotel in Hong Kong to Executive Chef at Rebar Crowne Plaza in Taiwan, L’Aigle d’Or at the former Duxton Hotel and Meritus Mandarin Orchard – Singapore.
Taking centre stage in the kitchen is quality and freshness of the produce and ingredients, where decades old recipes are passionately preserved and translated on the menu with refined cooking techniques.
As Taratata Brasserie enters its’ twelfth year in 2022, Chef Bertrand continues to set the standard for culinary excellence, serving up quintessentially French cuisine to the unrelenting diners in Singapore.
Seasonal specials are featured quarterly along with a trolley selection of refined cheese and French wines.
